Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Bahrain, as Iran launched missile attacks throughout the Middle East in response for a significant and ongoing attack targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an vicinity in the area of the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The scope of any damage is uncertain and the American officials has not commented.

The defence ministry of the UAE stated that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses responded to the missiles with great effectiveness and successfully intercepted a number of missiles," it added.
The statement noted wreckage fell on a residential area in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some material damage and fatalities.
The US Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
